GUILT

GUILT, short for Gangliated Utrophin Immuno Latency Toxin, is a synthetic disease developed by Delphi that was used in the year 2018 as the first example of medical terrorism. It comes in eight strains, with seven corresponding to Greek days of the week. The first few strains were identified through letters that were recieved by hospitals who had incoming GUILT victims. It is thought by Dr. Hoffman that GUILT is a toxin that makes the body produce GUILT cells, turning the body against itself.The known strains are:

[edit] Kyriaki (Κυριακή - Sunday)
With a sharp tail, Kyriaki creates multiple lacerations in an attempt to shred a victim's organs (usually the lungs, but sometimes the small intestine) until they can no longer function.

Deftera seeks to shut a body down by sapping stamina through tumors and smaller polyps.
[edit] Triti (Τρίτη - Tuesday)
Triti is a multiplying membrane that attempts to calcify an organ (usually the pancreas) by completely covering it and impeding proper function.

Three bodies that work in unison to spread a toxic mist throughout its victim's body by making toxic diverticula.
[edit] Pempti (Πέμπτη - Thursday)
Pempti is a powerful strain that attacks a victim's lungs (and rarely liver) by filling it with a gelatinous fluid and attacking with lacerations and polyps when provoked.
[edit] Paraskevi (Παρασκευή - Friday)
Paraskevi is a fibrous, worm-like, serrated strain of GUILT that moves through the victim's organs on a path to the heart, where it will attempt to shred it and kill the victim.

Savato wraps a tight web around the heart and uses the pumping force to sustain itself. When provoked, it attempts to create lacerations and spawns multiple mini-Savato bodies.

A special strain of GUILT that inhabits Adam, keeping his body "alive" and attempting to bring about the extinction of the human species through GUILT. The Z-Cells that Caduceus Europe used to heal a war victim were thaught to have been extracted from Adam This is the only GUILT that does not receive its name from a Greek day of the week.
