Caduceus International

Caduceus International is a fictional organization and arm of the World Health Organization. Starting in the 1980s, Caduceus' mission is the research and application of cures to previously incurable diseases, by the year 2018 Caduceus had found a cure for Cancer, AIDS and the TFTA influenza. It is divided into several branches across the globe, including Caduceus USA, Caduceus Japan, and Caduceus Europe.
Derek Stiles along with Angela Thompson are employed by Caduceus USA to treat GUILT and other dangerous bio-diseases after he successfully treated Linda Reid from the GUILT-strain Kyriaki.

- Angela Thompson (Surgeon's Assistant), accompanied Derek as his assistant
- Dr. Naomi Kimishima (Surgeon of Caduceus Europe), joined Caduceus Europe under protection after her time spent with the organization Delphi.
- Dr. Robert Hoffman (Director of Caduceus USA), after the death of Richard Anderson, Dr. Hoffman respects his last request and becomes Director of Caduceus.

- Cybil Myers (Anaesthesiologist), calm under pressure, used to be a police officer, earning the title of 'Iron Vixen'.
- Sidney Kasal (Director of Caduceus USA), he devotes his life to medicine after the death of his wife, he is the twin brother of Greg Kasal.
- Victor Niguel (Head of Research & Development), has a pompous and elitist attitude, considering himself as a genius.

[edit] Caduceus' management transition between Under the Knife and Under the Knife 2
It's thought that either Caduceus USA had gone into a profound change after the cases of Under the Knife 2, or that Caduceus USA in the years 2018-2021 was actually Caduceus Japan. As seen in New Blood year 2028, Irene Quatro presents Derek Stiles and Angie Thompson as Caduceus Japan's employees, no staff members from UTK/SO/UTK2 are seen working in Caduceus USA at this point. From New Blood onwards the location of Caduceus USA is located in Maryland instead of it's previous Angeles Bay location. It is hinted that Derek and Angie in 2021 would transfer to Caduceus Japan after the events of Under the Knife 2.
