Brachion is the fifth strain of Stigma encountered in New Blood. Brachion is the Greek word for "arm."

Brachion consists of a core connected to a set of arms, also called "grapplers". The core will release toxins into the links between it and the grapplers; if the toxins reach the arms, it will cause vital damage and all excised grapplers will regenerate. Segments of the arm can be pinched to deter the progression of the toxin to the skin. Once all the grapplers are injected with special serum and removed, the arms retract, and a new set comes out, meaning Brachion has taken damage.

When the toxin reaches a pinched segment of the arm, it will go back to the beginning. Use this to your advantage, and plan out the pinching so it gives you the most time spent not worrying about the toxin.
[edit] Stats and Attacks
Brachion's grapplers have to be excised 4 times in the normal operations, and 5 times in the X-mission.
- Toxin Release - Brachion will release toxin through its arms into the grapplers which then release it into the organ, causing vital damage and all excised grapplers to regenerate instantly.
- Regeneration - Brachion pulls back its grapplers and regenerates the grappler tips.
